I jumped off the buss about 15 minutes ago – I’ve been to the movies watching Sympathy for Lady Vengeance – and walking up the road I found something in the middle of it. At first I tried to scare it to the other side (enough road kill dammit!) but it wouldn’t move. Christ aw’mighty I thought and ran home to grab my camera.
When I got back it wasn’t there anymore! I mumbled and shook my head. And then I saw it again. I like the picture a whole lot.

Since I’m the new kid on the block here in Örebro, and my only friend was away on vacation, I spent my birthday, a week ago, reading by the castle, eating sushi and going to the movies. All in all it was very relaxing and enjoyable but watching Tristan & Isolde was a reminder of the painful reality of my endless, loveless bachelor life.
I gave myself two great presents too! I bought “Don’t break the oath” by Mercyful Fate and King Diamond’s “Abigail”. Both feature King Diamond on vocals ofcourse. I can’t believe I’ve never given these albums any attention before. “Abigail” is simply the best new album of the year… and it’s almost 20 years old! And I thought I knew all about heavy metal.
I remember seeing both Mercyful Fate and King Diamond live, but for some reason that didn’t trigger me. Well, this did. What a great present! So, it would seem like the good little christian that is me has fallen in love with a devilworshiping danish tenor!
