First you gotta ask yourself if you really wanna write. You remember that scene in “Raiders of the Lost Ark”? I hope your heart is pure because stuff will happen if you mail for the wrong reasons.
No seriously. You can mail to anders (at) roadfrommadness (dot) com. This is by far the best way to reach me.
I have a cell phone in order to identify with my generation. It’s almost always in use. Mail for number. Call for talk.
Also you can mail me the way people used to mail in “the old days” – when a “Viagra letter” actually cost something to send. We like mail but not boxes that scratch from the inside or ticking stuff.

1. What on earth is Road From Madness?
The answers to how and why I ended up where I am – and why the site came about – can be found in the “About this site” section. If you found your way here, you’re clever enough to find your way there.
As for the name itself, it’s influenced by the song “Roads to Madness” by Queensryche from their album “The Warning” (1984). In 2004 Queensryche released the live album/DVD “Art of Live” and performed an acoustic version of the song in which lead singer Geoff Tate altered the lyrics saying: “…oh maybe one day, we’ll walk off the Road to Madness” with a direct reference to the war in Iraq. Since Queensryche has influenced me throughout life I thought Road From Madness would be a suiting tribute.
2. What equipment do you use?
Why do you ask? Have you plans on stealing it? I use stuff that are cheap, light and can take a beating. Preferably Apple.
3. Why so many typos?
Because I’m swedish, silly.
4. Can I use your pictures and music for stuff?
Ofcourse you can’t – unless you ask. Most of the pictures are probably too personal for you to have any use of anyway. Now, the music is another thing. All the music has been made to inspire making the world a better place. Spreading it will probably not do anyone any harm. However, you must have a deep understanding of the following:
1) You gotta ask first.
2) The birth of the Internet didn’t annul the laws of copyright.
3) You only use it for charity purposes, capisce?
5. What is The Edwin Foundation?
The Edwin Foundation was founded in 2002 by Eva and Tomas Ström (aka mom and dad). They had been working with humanitarian aid towards the former Soviet Union for 10 years when my brother Mattias “The Bomber” Ström and his wife Gun had their second kid (that’s Edwin, the first one is Albin). Edwin was born with Down Syndrome. It made mom and dad think and they soon realised that there’s not really any help for these kids in former Soviet Union.
My contribution, except for the random gift, is as webmaster for the official website and at times as a legal counsellor. You should really check it out. The work is incredible. If you are tired of big corrupted aid organizations then this might inspire you. This is the real deal.
6. Can you help me? Can I help you?
Yes and yes. I believe very much in the idea of people helping out. We are all in different places in life and on this planet. Each individual has got a bunch of qualities that the other lack etc. Combining these qualities adds to the quality of life itself.
If you notice I have a certain advantage in one area and you feel you need help there – just go ahead and ask. If you realise I am totaly incompetent in another area and feel like helping out – please do so.
This goes for everything: business, fun, music, faith, holiday and what not.
7. You say you like travelling – would you like to visit me?
Most certainly.
